NATURE BOTTLE CO2

ULTUM NATURE SYSTEMS

Carbon is an important nutrient needed by plants to grow.  The best way to supply your plants with the carbon they need is through cabon dioxide (CO2).  This Nature Bottle made by Ultum Nature Systems is the easiest way to supply CO2 to your aquarium.  Just add warm water, shake it, and wait.  Its that simple!

The UNS Nature Bottle is the perfect solution to your CO2 needs.  The simple instructions and ease of use allow any beginner or experienced hobbyist to achieve the best plant growth by introducing CO2 to their aquarium.  The Nature Bottle utilizes a natural and proven concept to provide the right amount of CO2 suitable for planted aquariums.  We recommend using one bottle for every 20 gallons of water, so if your tank is larger, multiple bottles can be employed concurrently.

This kit comes with everything you need to start injecting CO2 to your aquarium:

1 x Nature Bottle

1 x Bio Powder

1 x CO2 Diffuser

1 x 6.5’ Airline Tubing

2 x Suction Cups

1 x O-Ring

1 x Reaction Cap

Instructions:

Step 1: Water

Add 300 ml of warm water between 100° to 120°F to your Nature Bottle.  Do not add water that’s too hot, it may damage the bottle and affect performance.

Step 2: Shake

Tighten the cap and shake the Nature Bottle for one minute until all solids have dissolved and you’re left with liquid only.

Step 3: Wait

Allow the Nature Bottle to sit for 24 hours without interruption or disturbance.  The liquid will thicken into a gel like consistency.  After 24 hours, invert the bottle to ensure that the liquid is fully solidified.  If not, wait another hour and check again.

Step 4: Activate

Remove the cap and clean off any gel that remains on the bottleneck.  Using the cap as a measuring device, add 2/3 to 1 capful of Bio-Powder into the Nature Bottle followed by 150ml of lukewarm, room temperature water around 77°.   Install the reaction cap onto the bottle, no shaking is required.  Connect the flexible tubing on one end to the reaction cap and the other through the suction cup and onto the diffuser.  Place the diffuser into your aquarium and wait.

Step 5: React

During initial use, CO2 gas output will fluctuate but overtime, the reaction speed will stabilize and slow down.  The Nature Bottle will continue to work for up to 60 days depending on room temperature.  Increased temperatures will speed up the reaction process and shorten the usage

Additional Information:

The Nature Bottle is designed for aquariums 10 to 30 gallons.  For smaller tanks, you run the risk of providing too much Co2 and depleting oxygen levels which can be deadly for your fish and shrimp. If you choose to use the Nature Bottle on nano tanks smaller than 10 gallons, we recommend running an air pump lights are off or if you notice your fish gasping at the surface.   If you don’t have an air pump, creating any surface agitation in the water will also provide oxygen to degas excessive CO2.

Usage life of the Nature Bottle can vary depending on the temperature.  Recommended room temperature ranges from 68° to 86°.  The higher the temperature, the faster the CO2 depletes itself and the shorter the duration of usage.  As a general rule of thumb, the Nature bottle will last 30 to 50 days during winter and 40 to 60 days during summer.

Gas output is non adjustable, we do not recommend the use of needle valves, solenoids, or any other devices which can cause damage to the Nature Bottle.

Do not tilt or shake the bottle during operation in order to prevent reaction liquid from getting into the aquarium.  Minor amounts of alcohol may be produced from the solution, which is normal and harmless.  In the event that any reaction liquid leaks into the aquarium, an oxygen deficiency can occur but a simple 30-50% water change will correct the issue.  Running an air pump to degas some CO2 will also help.

Clean and remove any gel that forms on the bottleneck before initial use to prevent build up or jamming at the gas outlet.  If any reaction liquid is found inside the flexible tubing, simply clean it with water.
